Armenian Institutional Reforms

Institutional Competence and Excellence

Experts have been signaling for decades that corruption among Armenia’s ruling class and state bureaucracies will eventually damage the country in significant ways. In the opinion of many Spyurk born in Hayastan, the loss of Artsakh in November 2020 was inevitable because of this corruption.

Regardless of the current administration’s failure to deliver complete and comprehensive change during its short tenure, the ANA is focused on the ability of the global Spyurk to influence a continued implementation of institutional reforms initiated by the Sargsyan national referendum that inspired the Velvet Revolution.

To accomplish this, the ANA is committed to the help create multiple Armenian institutions of competence and excellence.

Institutions of competence and excellence are capable of creating civic and political structures that provide for fair and free elections, improve the quality and availability of healthcare, clean the courts of cronyism and corruption, streamline and modernize the Armenian military, reduce the size of government bureaucracy and penalize bribery.
